Latoya Bethea, President
is a native and current resident of High Point. She is a graduate of Southwest Guilford High School and attended Ashford University.  Ms. Bethea is currently employed with the Office of Workforce Development as a Transitional Assistant in Greensboro.

Joshua Stuckey, Secretary
is a native of Wilkesboro, NC and currently resides in High Point.  He has attended Appalachian State University.  Josh served as a volunteer for many events before joining the board at large, and was nominated secretary in 2013.

Kevin Peguese
is a native of High Point,NC and has 35 years experience in mortgage servicing, real estate sales & marketing, and case management. A.A.S Degree in Accounting and Graduate of National Association of Realtors Institute . Previously served as Commissioner, High Point Housing Authority, Low Income Housing Opportunities Inc. board member for the City of High Point, YMCA Board member and Finance Committee member, former member of High Point Realtors Association, North Carolina Association of Realtors & National Association of Realtors, former member of High Point Jaycees and Junior Achievement Consultant.

Yvette Carey, Treasurer
is a native of Washington, DC and currently resides in High Point.  She attended schools in Washington, DC, Warrenton, NC and graduated from Wake Forest University.  She is currently employed with the City of High Point as a Human Resource Specialist, in the Employment Division.   Ms. Carey is a dedicated missionary and servant in her community. "You can be anything in life you want to be as long asyou have your education.  Learning is a life-long experience.”




Funding
 Nia Community Action Center, Inc. receives individual, foundation and corporate contributions; federal and state grants; and funding from local governments.  All programs and services through Nia Community Action Center are offered to any eligible recipient free of charge.
